Spring fashion blooms on Caf Lane

It has been my long-standing opinion that Caf Lane is one of the most-tread runways in the world of ready-to-wear fashion; students unaware of their model status promenade to the center of PLNU’s social scene while others of us pull up a front-row seat to enjoy this season’s swag.

That exciting time of year has arrived when we all return from home with a load of new clothes to show off to our friends and the surrounding onlookers. This past week, nothing but the hottest fashion graced our campus brick.

Boots in all colors, shapes, heights and styles have been the staple shoe choice of the past winter season and continue to be a strong trend for spring. Whether you sport them outside your new pair of colored denim jeans, with leggings or even against bare skin, you can’t go wrong.

Bold patterns and colors are also in vogue this spring as the ’80s attempt to make a comeback. Neon T-shirts, dresses, tops and tanks have all been sighted flashing their glow across the campus mall. What better way to make your day more fun than to dress for a dance party?

Finally, top off those outfits with your new Gucci purse or Dolce sunglasses, and you are ready to strut your signature walk down PLNU’s sunny stretch.
